Foreign Ministry confirmed on Friday that Vice-Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu will visit Japan and the Republic of Korea respectively to conduct consultations with relevant officials to promote healthy and stable development of China-Japan and China-ROK relations.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian told a daily news briefing that Ma, together with his Japanese counterpart Masataka Okano, will co-host the 16th China-Japan strategic dialogue.
In Seoul, he will hold the 10th high-level strategic dialogue between the foreign ministries with ROK's First Vice-Foreign Minister Kim Hong-kyun.
The two-nation tour will last from Sunday to Thursday, according to Lin.
He said it is hoped that the two dialogues will promote the healthy and sustainable development of China-Japan and China-ROK ties.
