Business leaders from more than 1,500 education and technology enterprises gathered in Beijing on Friday to attend the 2016 Global Education Technology conference.
This is the second time that the three-day event for education and technology business leaders to exchange views and ideas has been held.
It was launched in 2015 by jiemodun.com, a leading media platform that provides information and services on education technology and innovation.
The theme of this year's conference is "action, vision and the new norm".
Mei Chujiu, founder of jiemodui.com, said the coming decade would be both meaningful and fruitful for China's education sector.
Changes in the market, technology and policy have transformed education in China, and data processing will become an increasingly important tool, she said.
Mei dismissed the so-called cold winter of capital that has hit a number of education technology enterprises since the fourth quarter of last year, shuttering many.
"I don't believe it's a real 'cold winter'," she said, adding that the history and experiences of other countries show temporary blips in the market can be overcome.
