A former TV host Lang Yongchun has been detained for suspected drunk driving, police said on Friday.
Lang was driving an SUV at 10:40 p.m. on October 5, when he had an accident at an intersection on the west Dawang Street in Chaoyang District, Beijing. His blood alcohol test was 207.9mg/100ml.
Lang was detained on October 6.
Lang was a host of the evening CCTV news, but left CCTV in 2015, according to his public profile.
