A single-engine plane crashed in the U.S. state of Nebraska Sunday, killing one and injuring another, local media said.
The crash of the 1962 Beechcraft Bonanza P35 plane at the Millard Airport, a public airport that mostly serves private aircraft, was witnessed by many in the surrounding area, who said the plane dived "hard" onto the ground, creating a devastating wreckage.
The injured, a woman, was seen ejecting from the plane just before the crash, while a man who was dragged out by rescuers from the wreckage was killed.
The identities of those on board were yet to be released.
According to reports, the weather around the time of the crash was near perfect, with little wind and unlimited visibility.
The National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation.
