China Southern Airlines will be using the new Boeing 737 MAX 8 planes for its regular flights between the northwestern Chinese city of Urumqi and St. Petersburg of Russia.
Flights will resume on June 2 after the winter break and continue until Oct. 8, Zhu Liang, the company's general representative in Russia, said Monday.
China Southern Airlines is the largest air company in Asia in terms of fleet size and passenger volume. It transported more than 126 million passengers in 2017, according to the official website of the airlines.
