Central China's Hubei Province reported four new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and 13 deaths on Friday, local health commission said Saturday.
All of the new confirmed cases were reported in Wuhan, the provincial capital and epicenter of the outbreak.
The latest report brought the total confirmed COVID-19 cases in the hard-hit province to 67,790.
As of Friday, Hubei had seen no new confirmed COVID-19 cases for nine consecutive days in its 16 cities and prefectures outside Wuhan.
The province also saw 1,390 patients discharged from hospital after recovery on Friday, bringing the total number of discharged patients in the province to 52,943.
Among the 10,485 hospitalized patients, 2,896 were still in severe condition and another 647 in critical condition.
