A fishing boat with 16 crew members lost contact off southeastern Zhejiang province in East China Monday morning, and as of noon, two bodies were recovered, according to local media.
The 248-tonnage fishing boat, Zhepuyu 68628, was on its way back to port when it lost contact. An emergency plan was triggered and eight public service vessels, as well as 14 fishing boats joined in the search and rescue effort.
The 16 crew members are from Taizhou, Zhejiang province and Henan province.
