China on Sunday issued a white paper on the country's battle against COVID-19.
The white paper, titled "Fighting COVID-19: China in Action," was issued by the State Council Information Office.
Consisting of four chapters, the white paper explains China's prevention, control and treatment efforts in the battle against the virus, as well as the efforts made at a global level in international cooperation.
China firmly believes that as long as all countries unite and cooperate to mount a collective response, the international community will succeed in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic, said the white paper.
The world will "emerge from this dark moment in human history into a brighter future," said the white paper.
According to the white paper, the cure rate for COVID-19 has reached over 94 percent on the Chinese mainland.
Also, the white paper highlighted science and technology which have always been the most powerful weapon used by mankind to combat epidemics, noting that China has made full use of the weapon to win the battle against COVID-19.
