Three people were injured in a gas explosion near a hotel in Zhuhai City, south China's Guangdong Province, that happened at around 9 a.m. Friday, according to local media.
The injured people have been sent to a nearby hospital for treatment, and no one has been trapped. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
The explosion caused varying damages to surrounding shops and residential buildings. Local fire, health and emergency departments have rushed their personnel to the scene and the fire has been extinguished.
