Nine people were killed in three consecutive road accidents in central China's Hunan Province on Tuesday, local police said.
The accidents, which involved multiple crashes, happened on a highway in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in the small hours of Tuesday morning.
Starting from 7 p.m. Tuesday, all toll stations in Xiangxi have been temporarily closed for charter tour buses, coaches and trucks carrying chemicals due to bad weather.
