The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports issued a notice on further prevention and control of COVID-19 on Friday, calling off some in-person sports training activities.
According to the notice, Daxing District of Beijing where new COVID-19 cases were found suspended all offline sports training activities from January 23, 2021, and other districts suspended indoor sports training activities and outdoor group training activities for primary and secondary school students.
In accordance with the city's three-level emergency response period, the sports business units should strictly implement the prevention and control measures, such as appointment, flow restriction, wearing masks, temperature measurement and health QR code checking, keeping a distance of one meter, ventilation, and disinfection.
The sports departments of all districts should strengthen the inspection of law enforcement, and supervise the sports business units to strictly implement the COVID-19 prevention and control measures, so as to ensure that the sports industry does not contribute to the spread of the epidemic.
