Five people have been reported missing after a fishing boat sank in waters off east China's Zhejiang Province, the provincial maritime search-and-rescue center said Tuesday.
The center received a report at about 8:50 a.m. after a Shenzhen-registered fishing boat overturned about 165 nautical miles east of the city of Wenzhou.
Ten people were onboard the vessel, which is 27.17 meters long and has a gross tonnage of 105 tonnes. Five people had been rescued as of 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The search for the missing personnel is ongoing.
