New York City's latest COVID-19 test positivity rate on a seven-day average reached 6.23 percent, compared with 6.06 percent one day earlier, Mayor Bill de Blasio tweeted on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, de Blasio said that there were 243 new hospital admissions and new cases of the coronavirus were 3,196. "ALL New Yorkers 60+ are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine."
During his press conference on Wednesday, the mayor said that total doses administered in NYC had reached 2,448,892.
