A Chinese-invested clothing factory in Myanmar's Yangon was damaged by a fire on Wednesday morning. No casualties have been reported.
Factory official said the incident could be arson because it first started at the entrance of the factory with the smell of gasoline nearby, but further investigation is ongoing.
The fire, which broke out at about 5:35 a.m., was put out at 6:55 a.m.
Official estimates put the property damage at about eight million yuan (around 1.223 million USD).
The incident came after several Chinese-invested companies in Yangon were smashed and looted last month.
