(ECNS) -- A China Eastern Airlines passenger plane with 132 people aboard crashed in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Monday, according to Civil Aviation Administration of China.
It caused a mountain fire, and the cause and casualties are unknown so far.
The Boeing 737-800NG plane lost contact en route to Guangzhou, Guangdong Province from Kunming, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Of the 132 people, 123 were passengers and nine crew memebers.
Rescue operations are underway.
