A few days before the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, two permanent community COVID-19 isolation treatment facilities, constructed by State-owned enterprises, were fully delivered.
The two facilities were located in Kai Tak in Kowloon and Penny's Bay in Tsuen Wan. All of the modular integrated construction units needed in the facilities were constructed by the China State Construction Hailong Technology Co Ltd, a subsidiary of the China State Construction International Holdings Ltd.
Apart from the two isolation treatment facilities, the company also aided the construction of six fangcang, or makeshift hospitals, in Hong Kong.
