With the Chinese New Year holiday coming to an end, enterprises across the country have resumed production one after another, which has led to a surging demand for electricity and has placed heavy pressure on the power grid.
In order to ensure the stable production of the enterprises, the State Grid's power supply company in Xuchang, Henan province, has sent staff to visit its clients regularly, checking their production status and gathering newfound requirements.
The company said it is also providing customized guidance for the clients to use electricity smartly, which enables them to save on electricity bills and further improve productivity.
Besides, the company uses drones and infrared thermometers to conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical equipment like transmission lines and self-contained power plants, aiming to identify and promptly eliminate the hidden hazards.
After visiting a total of 37 enterprises in Xuchang, the company has so far removed seven hidden hazards and made four safety suggestions, contributing to the reliability and stability of power supply.
According to the company, this year it will continue to follow up on the enterprises' needs and tackle relevant issues based on their actual production process, thus providing high-quality and more efficient power supply services.
