The central government has unveiled new policies and initiatives to boost the employment and entrepreneurial opportunities for college graduates.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Finance have jointly issued a notice encouraging companies to hire college graduates and registered laid-off youths by providing financial incentives.
According to the notice, companies and government bodies are urged to provide approximately one million internship opportunities for college students in both 2024 and 2025.
Regular job fairs will be held for college students, with cities that have a significant population of college students required to organize these events at least once a week or month.
Young individuals facing challenges in securing employment or recent graduates unable to find jobs should receive job search guidance from local authorities.
Additionally, they should be offered three job recommendations and either a lecture on job skills or an internship opportunity.
The notice also mandates local authorities to strengthen supervision and management of the human resources market.
