Chinese national team player Zhou Qi, 20, announced on Friday that he is to enter the 2016 NBA draft.
Zhou has submitted the paperwork for draft entry and starts to train for predraft in the United States.
According to the latest DraftExpress Mock Draft, Zhou, played as center, has the potential to be selected by the Toronto Raptors with the first-round No. 27 draft pick.
Zhou, a 7-foot-2 and 210-pound prospect in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league, averaged 15.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.2 blocks in the 2015-16 season for Xinjiang.
