International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach is in Beijing this week to attend a debriefing for the 2018 Winter Olympics.
"I think this debriefing showed that the reforms of Olympic Agenda 2020 are now really coming to fruition and you can see the tangible results of these reforms right now," Bach said during the meeting, entitled as "Learning week: Towards a new era."
Bach said that Beijing 2022 will be the first host city to fully benefit from Olympic Agenda 2020, which places great emphasis on incorporating legacy planning from the earliest stages of preparations for the Olympic Games.
The debriefing, which will last for five days, provides an opportunity to share essential strategic and operational learning from PyeongChang 2018.
