The 2018 Hainan Danzhou International Marathon will start on December 23 in Danzhou city, South China's Hainan province, organizers said on Saturday.
Registration are available on the official website, with the deadline on Nov. 10. About 16,000 runners, both at home and abroad are expected to compete in the race this year.
Inaugurated in 2010, the event will feature three races of marathon (42.195km), half marathon (21.0975km) and mini marathon (5km).
The mini marathon will be divided into speed running and happy running, while the half marathon will also stage a special race for lovers who will receive special souvenirs after crossing the line, said the organizers.
