Located in North China's Hebei Province and covering an area of more than 30 square kilometers, Wanlong Ski Resort is the training resort for more than 150 domestic and foreign professional athletes.
It usually opens earlier than others due to its location in the high mountains (about 2,110 kilometers high) which embraces cold air from Siberia as early as September. As a result, ski season in Wanlong begins from the beginning of November and ends in April.

Xiling Ski Resort is currently the largest and best-equipped alpine ski resort in the country, which incorporates snow skiing, grass skiing and other entertainment to create a year-round tourist destination. Surrounded by vast snow-covered forest, the mountain is renowned as the "oriental Alps."
This year, the ski resorted kicked off on December 1 and is now open to tourists.
