The first direct flight linking southwest China's Kunming city with Manila, capital of the Philippines, was launched Friday.
The flight departs from Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province, every Monday and Friday at 0:25 a.m. and arrives in Manila at 3:40 a.m. (Beijing time). The return flight takes off from Manila on the same day each week at 4:40 a.m. and arrives in Kunming at 8 a.m.
The flight is operated by Yunnan's Luck Air Airlines using a Boeing 737-800.
