The number of passengers passing through Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport, on flights between China and Israel, rose in the first eight months of 2019 by 23.43 percent compared with the same period in 2018, according to a report published Sunday by the Israel Airports Authority.
According to the report, 351,961 passengers flew between the two nations in January-August this year.
The report also showed that in August 2019, there were 45,322 passengers on flights between China and Israel, compared with 42,430 in August 2018.
An all-time Israeli monthly record of 2.81 million passengers in international flights passed through Ben Gurion Airport in August 2019, an increase of 2.16 percent year on year.
A total of 15.93 million passengers passed at the airport in January-August 2019, an increase of 5.96 percent year on year.
