Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the temporary introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of the People's Republic of China entering Ukraine for tourism purposes, the press service of the Chinese Embassy in Ukraine said on Wednesday.
Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Yenin informed the Chinese ambassador to Ukraine Fan Xianrong about the decree.
The document rules that Chinese citizens entering Ukraine or transiting Ukraine for tourism between April 1 and Sept. 30, 2021 can benefit from visa-free entry into the country if the period of their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 30 days within 180 days.
A similar decree was in effect in Ukraine between Aug. 1, 2020 and Jan. 31, 2021.
