The eastern town of Wuzhen will be holding the 2nd World Internet Conference from December 16 to 18.
The event will gather more than 2,000 participants from over 120 countries and regions, including government officials and representatives, international organizations, Internet companies, academics, experts, think tanks and foreign and domestic college students.
The conference will cover 22 topics, including Internet cultural transmission, Internet innovation and development, digital economy cooperation, Internet technology standards and cyber space management.
Chinese President Xi Jinping will also attend the meeting.
Wuzhen, a famous water town with over 2,000 years of history in Zhejiang province, is also the host place of the first WIC in last November.
