Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has met with the prime ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states in Central China's Zhengzhou City, where they held talks on issues of regional development.
A joint communique, together with a declaration on regional and economic cooperation, were issued after the meeting. In-depth dialogues and fruitful results. This is the first time for China's premier to play host since the founding of the SCO some 14 years ago.

And Premier Li said China will enhance support for further regional development.
"We will enhance financial support for SCO projects, and will do a good job preparing the financial mechanisms for the SCO,"
"For the production capacity projects that need China's support, we stand ready to provide more flexible and convenient conditions," said Premier Li.
An SCO development bank, as well as an e-commerce union will also be established to boost regional business. The premier has urged member states to work together to guard against financial risk and ensure stability in regional trade and investment.
Through cooperation, Li believes a bright future lies ahead. Li said:"We believe, as we expand our member states, observer states and dialogue partners; as we better synergize development strategies for various countries and regions; as we integrate the markets, resources and transports links; there will be broader prospects for SCO development."
Premier Li has also proposed to enhance cooperation in other sectors such as security, production capacity, connectivity and the livelihoods of people. This is the 14th meeting of the SCO, and Kyrgyzstan will host next year's meeting.
