CBA star player Stephon Marbury extends his New Year greetings to all in an interview with Ecns.cn.
Now a permanent resident of China,the former NBA star takes Beijing as his second home.
The House of Marbury, a theme museum and the first for a sport star in China, opened on December 28.
Q: How will you celebrate this new year?
I'll be celebrating the new year in China. I think we have a game on New Year's day or New Year's eve. So I'll be pretty much occupied.
Q: Your new year's resolution?
My new year's resolution is pretty much the same every year… to be a better person, to continue to grow as a human being.
Q: You just become a permanent resident of China. How do you feel about that?
I'm exciting about the residency. I think it's an honor. It's truly a pleasure to be a part of the family here in Beijing. Chinese people have shown me nothing but love. I've been completely gracious and humble to the fact that I've been given an opportunity to be able to accomplish so many different things here. You definitely can pursue your dreams here in Beijing.
Q: Will you continue to stay in Beijing?I live here. It's not a time framework or a time period. This is my home.
