The World Economic Forum has opened in Switzerland. Around 2,500 participants from more than 100 countries, including business leaders and heads of state and government, are attending the three-day meeting in the ski resort town of Davos.
The opening ceremony of the annual meeting was held on Tuesday. The theme of this year's forum is "Mastering the Fourth Industrial Revolution."
Other topics on the agenda include sustainable development of the world economy, global warming and the environment, as well as the refugee crisis and anti-terror issues.
China-related matters will also be in the spotlight, including the economic "New Normal", the recently launched Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and the securities market. A session named "Where is China's Economy Heading" will be held on Thursday.
