China's second patient to be diagnosed with the Zika virus has checked out from hospital in southern China, after making a full recovery. Mr Liang received treatment for two weeks at Guangzhou People's Number 8 hospital.
The man had been working in Venezuela, and was admitted after he developed a fever and rash on his return. The hospital says it has obtained the virus with complete gene sequence from urine samples, and has confirmed it is the same strain of Zika that many South American countries have reported. Five people have been diagnosed with the virus on the Chinese mainland, two of which have since recovered.
