China's Meteorological authority has issued a blue alert for rainstorms in the country's southern region. Hubei, Anhui, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Jiangsu and Jiangxi provinces have already had some thunderstorms. The weather is expected to last till Sunday. Experts believe the intense rainfall is largely associated with the El Nino phenomenon.
