Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has met with visiting German Chancellor Angela Merkel. During their talks, Li said China is confident in the future of bilateral relations and cooperation.
He said China is ready to discuss the docking of Made-in-China 2025 and Germany's Industry 4.0, cooperation in third-party market, smart manufacturing and innovation.
Merkel said the China-Germany inter-governmental consultation is an important mechnism in promoting ties. She said Germany will work together with China to build closer relations.
The German Chancellor is in China for a three-day visit, with a strong business delegaton. She arrived in Beijing on Sunday afternoon, made a speech at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and received a honorary doctorate degree from Nanjing University.
