In less than two days, Shanghai Disney Resort will have its grand opening. The park has incorporated many Chinese elements that makes that Disney magic extra special.

The canteen, serving up Chinese cuisine, was designed in the form of a traditional Chinese mansion and garden.
In The Garden of 12 Friends are the Chinese Zodiac signs represented by Disney characters. This has already proved a favourite selfie spot during the soft opening, with tourists unable to resist a momento with their own zodiac.
Disney characters will be performing Tai Chi everyday in the afternoon, in Disney style, of course.
"We hope to present to our Chinese visitors a performance with Disney's features, and they feel attached too," said Xu Chang, asst. producer of Shanghai Disney Resort.
Mulan, the only Chinese heroin in Disney animations, gets the spotlight in the tour of wonderland. Flags and martial arts dancing accompany her on stage.
Chinese elements are all around, you just have to look.
The Peony is China's national flower. The flower pattern is applied to the castle spire, the floor tiles, and even gives Minnie's skirt a floral flair on the Disney stamps issued for the grand opening.
