As instability in South Sudan continues, various nations are evacuating their citizens, with China having pulled out more than 260 people.
Evacuations commenced on Tuesday in the capital city Juba. Those who are being evacuated are being routed to nearby cities - such as the Kenyan capital, Nairobi - and several other turn-over points throughout the African continent.
With most of the Chinese staff being from companies like China Petroleum and Power China, some have already boarded flights back to China.
Meanwhile, those remaining are expected to return soon afterwards as evacuation continues over the next several days. There are an estimated 1,400 Chinese nationals currently in South Sudan.
