Shanghai is hosting the Y20 Summit, a G20-related discussion forum for young people. The meeting opened Wednesday with more than 130 youth delegates from G20 members, guest countries and international organizations.
They will discuss topics including "poverty elimination and joint development", "entrepreneurship and creative thinking", "social justice" and "green life and sustainability". Y20 China is themed as "Youth Innovation for Our Shared Vision".
This is in line with the 2016 G20 theme "Towards an Invigorated, Interconnected and Inclusive World " and the framework of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda. The forum will produce the Y20 China Shanghai Communiqué, for submission to the G20 organizing committee. Let's hear what some of the delegates have to say.
