Tiangong-2 space lab now officially enters the stage for docking with the Shenzhou-11 manned spacecraft, which is set to launch in October. The Beijing Aerospace Control Center successfully adjusted the orbit of Tiangong-2 space lab last Sunday, manoeuvring it to 393 kilometers above the earth's surface. The space lab has already gone through ten days of in-orbit testing and four key stages for preparation.
Results suggest Tiangong-2 sub-systems are in good working order and condition. The Shenzhou-11 manned spacecraft is expected to carry two astronauts into space to dock with Tiangong-2. It is reported the docking will be the first to stimulate the mode of any future space station, which requires manned spacecraft to track the space station with its own motor ability.
