Nine Chinese seafarers, including one from Taiwan, are now finally home after being held captive by Somali pirates for over four years.

They arrived in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou on a flight from Nairobi. One Chinese crewman is still in the Kenyan capital receiving treatment. The ten were transferred to the city with the UN's help.

They were among the 29 men on an Omani fishing vessel hijacked south of the Seychelles in March 2012. Three members of that crew died, including one from the Chinese mainland and another from Taiwan. Other hostages were from Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.

"I've been very excited since the pirates let us go. I feel reborn," said Mr. Fan, freed hostage.
