In China, a prominent figure in the country's traditional art circle is artist Han Meilin, the designer of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games mascots. He is now displaying thousands of works of art at Beijing's National Museum of China.
The exhibition showcases over 3,000 pieces of artwork including painting, sculpture, ceramics and design.
Han Meilin is known for drawing inspiration from the ancient cultures as far back as the Han Dynasty over two thousand years ago, as well as Chinese folk culture.
An all-round artist, Meilin is considered by his country as a 'National Treasure' and was named an "Artist for Peace" in 2015 by UNESCO.
