Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Danish Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen in Beijing on Wednesday as part of his official four-day visit to China.
Premier Li held a welcoming ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing before the two held talks.
2017 is the "China-Denmark Tourism Year." The Danish government has forecast that it will receive 262,000 Chinese outbound travelers this year.
Rasmussen said Denmark had quality services and food, and promised new policies aiming at smoothing visa application procedures in the months to come.
He is scheduled to launch a Chinese-Danish Food and Drug Regulatory Cooperation Center on Friday that will help promote knowledge-sharing between public authorities in the two countries.
