Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with Guinean President Alpha Conde and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi on the sidelines of this year's BRICS Summit.[Special coverage]
During his meeting with Conde, President Xi said China and Guinea should continue to understand and support each other in their core interests and concerns. He also called for more people-to-people exchanges and better cooperation in fields such as science, education and media.
When meeting the Egyptian president, Xi said China stood ready to advance their comprehensive strategic partnership. Meanwhile, Sisi said Egypt was willing to expand cooperation with China in investment and infrastructure construction.
