(ECNS) -- PLA forces stationed in Hong Kong opened a base to the public to mark the 21st anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China on July 1.
Open Day activities included a flag raising ceremony, a military band performance, and a show of combat skills.
Visitors also enjoyed a shooting experience under the guidance of PLA soldiers.
"It’s a lot of fun and the show is wonderful," said a boy who visited the base.
"I hope there are more of such activities," said another visitor.
