(ECNS) — A small amphibious aircraft crashed into a reservoir in Wanning, Hainan Province, during routine flight training on Wednesday.
One of the two pilots died after being rescued out of the water, and the other is still missing.
The C-172S/B-10WK aircraft belongs to Hainan Meiya Air, according to loca authorities.
Rescuers are making all-out efforts to search for the missing pilot.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
