(ECNS) - British Ambassador to China Barbara Woodward said on Friday that Britain is willing to work with China to protect free trade and multilateralism.
Woodward made the remarks in an interview with China News Service on Jeremy Hunt's first visit to China as Britain's newly-appointed foreign secretary.
Hunt will co-chair the 9th China-UK Strategic Dialogue with Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
The 9th China-UK Strategic Dialogue will include three key topics: free trade, multilateralism, and global governance, Woodward said.
The two countries will also talk about working together on international challenges, it was added.
