(ECNS)--A video of two tourists walking along the Zhangye Danxia landform recently went viral. It shows a man in black kicking the sand with his bare foot and bragging, “I destroyed 6,000-year-old raw land.” Both have since turned themselves in to police and are being investigated. After the video clips were widely circulated online, it immediately triggered widespread outrage as many netizens strongly criticized the tourists' offensive behaviors.
