South African President Cyril Ramaphosa visited the headquarters of Alibaba Group on Sept. 5. When meeting with Alibaba's chairman Jack Ma, Ramaphosa expressed his willingness in cooperating with Alibaba to develop the digital economy and e-commerce in South Africa. This is the second meet between the two in one month. Ramaphosa invited Jack Ma to pay a visit to South Africa in October.
