(ECNS) -- Chinese netizens are offering tips to help cleaner Liu Xinlian search for a lost cell phone.
The phone belonged to Liu's deceased son. The few photos of her son stored in the phone were precious to Liu.
Liu lost the cell phone on Aug. 31 after using a public restroom.
"I just used the toilet and washed my hands. I couldn't find the phone shortly after leaving on my bike. I returned but found nothing," Liu said.
Many people helped her dial the number but the phone had been shut off.
Liu said Local police checked footage from the surveillance camera installed near the restroom, but no valuable clues have emerged. They promised to carry out further investigations.
