(ECNS) -- South Korean President Moon Jae-in arrived in Pyongyang at about 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday.
He was received at the airport by a grand welcoming ceremony led by Kim Jong-un, top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
This is the first inter-Korean summit in DPRK's capital Pyongyang in 11 years. It is also the third meeting between the two leaders this year.
They held their first summit in the border village of Panmunjom on April 27, followed by a second meeting there on May 26.
