A 14-year-old girl wanted to commit suicide on the rooftop of a 32-floor-building in Chongqing on Dec 18.
A local police officer stood several meters away and talked to her, giving her a windproof coat.
The girl was eventually moved by photos of the officer's baby daughter in his mobile phone. She gave up the idea of suicide and walked over to the officer.
