(ECNS)-- A 402-year-old almond tree occupies 5 lanes of a city major road, in Nanning City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Construction workers planned to move it to another location when building the road.
But it withered soon after its roots were dug out.
Workers then changed the plan and left it on the original site to keep the tree alive.
