Foreign residents were invited to a Lantern Festival celebration in Tongzilin community.
They learned making glutinous balls and participated in traditional celebrations including lantern riddles.
Similar cultural activities have been held every month, a staff of the community said, with the aim to offer a platform of communication among foreign and Chinese residents.
About 4300 foreigners live in the expat-concentrated Tongzilin community.
